Best Student Talk and Poster Awards
MTSM 2018 included competitions for the best student talk and best student poster. Both undergraduate and graduate students were eligible.
The Awards Ceremony was held at the close of the conference on Tuesday, June 12, and the judges awarded prizes to the following students:
- Best Student Talk
- First Prize ($300) – Gregory Dignon
- Second ($200) – William Killian
- Third Prize ($100) – Yushan Zhang
- Best Poster
- First Prize ($300) – Arun Gopalan
- Second ($200) – Nicholae Iovanac
- Third Prize ($100) – Jonathan Sheavly
